Lelia Mae Roberts, 77, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, died Thursday, August 20, 2015.

Lelia, known as Lea to many, was born December 1, 1937, in Ensign, KS to Zella Mae and Ernest Stohr. She graduated high school at age 16 and then attended Emporia State University where she met the love of her life, Richard L. Roberts. She taught and performed music with the Olathe Public Schools for many years, including touring with the Olathe Intergenerational Choir. Her passion in life was family and she devoted herself fully and enthusiastically as a wife, mother, and grandmother.
Lelia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter Janet Louise Roberts in 1981, and a son-in-law Stephen David Musgrave in 2014.
She is survived by one daughter, Judith LaRane Musgrave of Olathe, KS, one sister, Marlys Ann McFarland of Wichita, KS, two sons, Richard Owen Roberts of London, England and William Lewis Roberts of Minneapolis, MN, and eight grandchildren.
