Lawrence "Larry" M. Staszkiewicz, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on April 24, 2025, in Olathe, Kansas, at the age of 83.
Born on April 11, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, Larry lived a life marked by dedication to both his family and career.
Larry’s solid educational foundation began in Chicago where he graduated from Quigley Preparatory Seminary and then attended Loyola University. His strong sense of duty lead him to honorably serve in the United State Army from 1964-1966 as a medic in Fort Hood, TX. Larry was a proud marketing executive with Phillips Petroleum Company for over 40 years, where he made a significant impact during his tenure which resulted in many moves during his career. Ultimately Larry and Annette moved to Bartlesville, Ok where they raised their family, spending nearly 32 years. After retiring from Philips, Larry and Annette moved to Olathe, KS to be near family.
He is survived by his loving spouse, Annette C. (Janusz) Staszkiewicz, whom he met at Loyola University, and married on June 18, 1966. Together, they raised a beautiful family, which includes his daughters, Lisa (Don) Venner and Alaina (Tristan) Talley, as well as his sons, Andrew Staszkiewicz and Adam Staszkiewicz. Larry's legacy continues through his grandchildren Maddison, Parker, Kaila, Christian, Jared, Katelyn, Nolan, Emerson, Alex, Abby, and Jackson, who brought immense joy to his life. He will be forever loved by his sister-in-law Susan Janusz, who was so important in his life.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Steven and Felicia Staszkiewicz and his, daughter-in-law Sheila Staszkiewicz. He leaves behind cherished memories and values that will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His influence will be felt by his family and friends for years to come, as they remember a man of integrity, and commitment to his loved ones.
