Laverne Trammel

Laverne Y. Trammel, 89 of Olathe, KS passed away Friday June 29, 2012 at the Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, KS. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the American Heart Assoc.

Laverne was born Sept. 8, 1922 in Scott County, AR to Irvin and Clara Yandell. She and Andrew were residents of Fort Worth, TX for 32 years and Childress, TX for 18 years before moving to Olathe, KS in 2003.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years Andrew E. Trammel of the home. One son Andrew M. Trammel and wife Caroline of Olathe, KS and one step son Joe Trammel and wife Glenda of Cordell, OK. Three grandchildren Abby and her husband Kellan, Evan and Brad, one great grandaughter Amelia Joy, one step grand daughter Kelly, and one step great grand daughter Shyanne. She is also survived by her brother Drexel Yandell and wife Wanda of Fort Worth, TX. She was predeceased by her sister Jeanette Johnson of Arlington, TX.
