KRISTINE "KRIS" ANN BOWLES
Age 37, went home to be with the Lord on January 25, 2008. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 28, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral home, 14275 S. Blackbob Rd., Olathe. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 29 at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 2024 E. 151st Street, Olathe. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Animal Haven, 9800 W 67th Street, Merriam, KS.
Kris was born March 30, 1970 in Olathe, KS, to Richard and Karen Bowles. She graduated from Olathe North High School and went on to attend Emporia State University where she majored in Spanish. She was employed with Federal Express for the past ten years, and was currently pursuing a degree in Pharmacy Technology.
She leaves behind her parents, and three sisters; Kimberly (Terry)Sickler, Kirsten (Douglas) Stoebick, and Kari (Robert) Taylor, her uncle, William (Penai) Bricker, Jr., and grandfather, William Bricker, Sr. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Zebulon, Nicholas, Keelon, Alexandria, Madigan, and Ryan, and her beloved Icy.
