Kristina Sevigny

Kristina Marie Sevigny, 22, of Olathe, KS passed away Thursday, February 11, 2010 at her home of natural causes. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Monday Feb. 15 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Olathe, KS. Burial will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-7 PM on Sunday, February 14 at the Penwell Gabel Funeral Home, Olathe, KS. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to the Kristina Sevigny Memorial Fund at the First National Bank of Olathe 15084 S. Blackbob Rd. Olathe, KS 66062


Kristina was born March 15, 1987 in Aberdeen, SD to Ken and Linda Sevigny. As the oldest of four daughters, Kristina brought joy and light to the lives of all who knew her. She enjoyed taking walks, listening to music, snuggling up with a warm blanket and her golden retriever Libby, and gazing at the twinkling lights on the Christmas tree.
Kristina will be remembered most for her contagious smile, resilience, and big heart. Through her miraculous strength, she inspired all who met her to walk hand in hand with Christ while serving as a constant reminder of how precious and fragile life and love are.
She will be forever loved and missed by her parents, Ken and Linda Sevigny; three sisters Ashley, Erika, and Jessica; grandfather Lyle Griese, Gettysburg, SD; grandparents Don and Diane Sevigny, Hoven, SD; great-grandmother Angela Suda, Grafton, ND; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She will walk in heaven with her grandmother Josephine Griese, cousin Andy Liebig, uncle Gerald Griese, and aunt Joan Griese.
