It is with profound sadness that we announce that Kristi Anne (Medley) Crabtree, 55, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Advent Health Shawnee Mission, Merriam, Kansas, surrounded by loved ones.
Kristi was born July 7, 1968, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Kristi is survived by parents, Loren W. and Janet K. (McAdams) Medley, as well as her beloved sons Ian Crabtree and Colin Crabtree. Kristi graduated from Topeka High School in 1987 and received her bachelor's degree in Apparel & Textile Marketing from Kansas State University in 1991.
As a violinist and pianist, Kristi was an avid musician who enjoyed sharing music with her boys. She brought warmth to all who knew her and loved spending time with family and friends.
Kristi was preceded in death by her sister Angela Medley, maternal grandparents V.E. & Louise McAdams, Manhattan, paternal grandparents Lynn & Mildred Medley, Woodbine, and cousin, Melissa Medley.
She is also survived by sister Jessica (Mike) Wederski of Topeka, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many beloved friends.
Plans are being made for a celebration of life and will be announced soon.
