KIM D'NISE NELSON (OSBORN)

Kim D'Nise Nelson (Osborn), 50, Olathe, KS, went to meet her Lord for the journey home on Friday morning, February 24, 2006, at her home. A celebration of her life will be held at 11am Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Olathe Chapel (913)768-6777 where the family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to Kansas City Cancer Center of St. Luke's Hospital, and CAM International. Kim was an employee of Black and Veatch of Overland Park. She was an active member of Olathe Bible Church and it's Gardner campus; Fellowship Bible Church. She was passionately involved in children's ministries, mentored at Teen Crisis Pregnancy Center, various charities through Black and Veatch, and recent mission for CAM International.

She is survived by her husband; Greg Nelson, son Chris Rice and daughters; Gigi Rice, Alyssa Nelson and Kylie Nelson. Survivors also include her mother; JoAnn Osborn, mother and father-in-law Vern and Diane Nelson, two brothers, one sister, three sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and one grandchild.

For those of us whose lives she has touched, we are truly blessed. We could not have asked for a better wife, mother, or friend
