Kevin Thompkins

Kevin Eugene Thompkins, 51, of Olathe, passed away on May 28, 2015.

He was born to Dillard and Patricia Thompkins on October 14, 1963 in Mansfield, MO. His mother, Patricia V. Thompkins and sister Quentella Neal preceded him in death.

Kevin lived most of his life in Olathe, although he traveled many states as a truck driver for over 20 years. He graduated from Olathe High School in 1982. While he had many friends and interest, he loved cooking, hunting, and fishing. Wherever you saw a grill smoking, he was there as the main chef.

He leaves to cherish his memory his father, Dillard and Shirley Thompkins, Olathe, KS, six brothers Phillip Thompkins, Olathe, KS Darren Thompkins, Ottawa, Darwin Neal, Sr., Grandview, MO, Darwin Neal, Jr., Olathe, Kendall Neal, Kansas City, MO, Columbus Neal, Olathe, three sisters Cheryl Thomas and Jeff, Overland Park, Anita S. Thompkins, Olathe, Marjorie Larrick, Olathe, five nephews; Vincent Thompkins, Gardner, Elijah Thompkins, Olathe, Haran Thompkins, Olathe, Isaiah Thompkins, Olathe, and Zachary Thompkins, also surviving is one great-nephew Donovin Georgie, Lawrence, one great-niece Jailyn Thompkins, Gardner, and a host of relatives and friends.
