Kenneth Weber
1936-2018
Kenneth Weber, 82 years old passed away peacefully with family by his side.
Kenneth was born in Ponca City, OK. He was the first-born son of Clarence and Ruth Weber. Kenneth grew up in Newkirk, OK with four sisters and two brothers.
He graduated from Newkirk high school in 1953 and then went to Ark City community college. He then served two years in the army from 1954-1956. Soon after that he was hired on with a natural gas company called City Service in Ulysses, KS where he met his wife Georgene (Hampton) Weber. They were married on July 1st 1961.
Kenneth and Georgene had three children Tim, Lisa, and Natalie. Kenneth played multiple sports while growing up and so did all his children. He had a busy job but he was at all his kid's sporting events cheering them on.
After retirement from Williams Natural Gas Company in May of 1991 it gave him more time to play golf which he picked up later in life. He stuck with and became an avid golf player which got him 3 holes in one!
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Georgene Weber, son Tim Weber, daughters Lisa (Weber) Furdon, and Natalie Weber; son-in -law Tim Furdon, daughter -in-law Pamela Weber; grandkids Bridget and Brady Furdon, Logan and Kade Weber; sisters Yvonne Zinnecker, Barbara Carson, and Susie Deibler.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother Clearance and Ruth Weber, Brothers Butch Weber and Billy Weber, and sister Margaret Weber.
Kenneth will be missed greatly and will be remembered as a hard worker to provide for his family, loyal husband, loving father and grandfather. His passions included golf, fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.
