Age 86, passed away July 7, 2009 at his home in Olathe, KS. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S. Blackbob Rd., Olathe, KS.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to KSU Gardens, 2021 Throckmorton, Manhattan, KS 66506.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, JoAnne H. McGinness, his daughters and sons-in-law Kenna and Russ Byram, and Jill and Eric Hyer, three grandsons, one grand-daughter, seven great-grandsons, one great-grand-daughter, two sisters, and one brother.
