KENNETH "KEN" RALPH LADNER
Age 67, passed away August 28, 2012 at his home in Olathe, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to Heart to Heart International.
Ken was born August 17, 1945 in Orange, TX to Ralph and Marie Ladner. He served our country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era. Ken was married to Sandra Rice on June 3, 1972 and they raised their family in the Olathe area. Together they opened The Pizza Shoppe on Hwy 7 in Olathe in 1975, and he has continued to own and operate the business until the time of his death.
Ken was a member of the Olathe Sportsman's Club, and the Earl Collier American Legion. He was a founding member of the Olathe Bass Club, and in his spare time enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Surviving are his daughter Ellen Ladner of Spring Hill, KS, his grandson Harrison Tyler, his brother Bobby Ladner of Rogers, AR, his niece, Laura West of Shawnee, KS, his nephews Kenny and Bobby Shelton. He was preceded in death by his daughter Amy Tyler in 2010, his mother Marie Fabian, his father Ralph Ladner, his sister Diane Shelton, and niece Penny Smith.
