Kelsey Katherine Ewonus, age 22, of Overland Park, KS passed away June 30th, 2015.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the "Drake Ewonus Scholarship Fund" in care of Enterprise Bank, 11970 S. Blackbob Rd., Olathe, KS 66062.
Kelsey was born March 14, 1993 in St. Louis, MO to Kent and Ginger Ewonus, and she graduated from Olathe East in 2011.
She is survived by her son, Drake Bart Ewonus, her parents Kent and Ginger Ewonus of Overland Park, KS, her brother Jordan Ewonus and wife, Daiane, of Fort Lewis, WA, grandmother Katie Everett of Olathe, KS, aunt Jill Ewonus of Wichita, KS, uncles Rick Ewonus and wife Kathy of Bryan, OH, Scott Everett and wife Vicki of Birmingham, AL, and Kim Ewonus and wife Lynn of Wilmington, NC, cousins Elizabeth Bloch, Ruth Ann Raymond, Hannah, Jake, Doug and Scott Ewonus, and Bradford and Kyle Everett, and her beloved pets, Blaye the cat and Franklin and Macy the dogs.
Kelsey was a loving mother and Drake was the joy of her life. She cherished her entire family and brought joy to all of them. She was also a prolific and passionate writer. Kelsey loved "dressing to the nines" and looking beautiful. You never got in a hurry if you were going out with her!
She is at peace now with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We will miss her dearly.
