Keith Dillon, 95, Olathe, KS, passed away Monday, January 24, 2011 at his home. The family suggests contributions to Greyhound Hall of Fame 407 South Buckeye Avenue, Abilene, KS 67410-2925.

Keith was born June 6, 1915 in Cedar, Kansas living in Olathe since 1958. He was an Army Veteran of WWII. His life long career was raising and racing Greyhounds, retiring in 2007. Keith trained his first Greyhounds in 1938. He served as President of the National Greyhound Association for four terms. He went on to be President of the Greyhound Hall of Fame, which he did so much to establish. He was inducted into the Greyhound Hall of Fame in 1983. Mr. Dillon also helped found the Olathe State Bank in 1973 and served as Director of the Endowment Association of the Kansas State School for the Deaf.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Vivian Dillon in 2003.

He is survived by his daughter; Judy Rodgers of Olathe, granddaughter; Amy (Paul) Braden of Olathe and grandson; Joe (Kelly) Rodgers of North Port, Florida, great-grandchildren; Bam, Mac, Ashley, Jordan, Brady, Makenzie and Cameron.
