Keith Michael "Butch" Alexander passed away March 19, 2009 at home following an extended illness.
Keith was born November 12, 1956 and was a life-long member of both Bonner Springs and Olathe, Ks. He served his country in the armed forces both at home and abroad before retiring with the rank of Sergeant. Following his military services, he worked in the construction industry as an electrician and heavy equipment operator. Keith possessed a very creative talent and produced many art designs for local businesses and performers. In addition, he was also an avid music lover and enjoyed playing his guitar for friends and especially his grand-daughter.
Keith is survived by his wife, Mary Ann of the home, son Michael Alexander and his wife Kimberly and grand-daughter Charlee Rhea of Spring Hill, KS, his mother Patricia and step-father Wayne Struchtemeyer of Olathe, KS, his father Jack Alexander and step-mother Carolyn of Fulton, MO, his sisters Renee Stanley and husband Gary of Bonner Springs, Jackie Riley and husband Michael of Olathe, KS, his step-son Stephen Ingala of Olathe, step-daughters Amy Ingala of Kansas City, KS, and Antoinette Schofield and husband Wayne of Shawnee, KS, and grandson Kris (his fishing buddy) of Edwardsville, KS. Also surviving are several step-brothers and sisters along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. The family wishes to extend a most warm and sincere thank you for the wonderful support of the Heartland Hospice organization, especially Michelle DeVault, and to the many close neighbors that surrounded them through this difficult time.
