Katherine Ann Kosmicki

Katherine Ann "Kate" Kosmicki, 53, of Overland Park, passed away on September 10, 2019 at St. Luke's Hospice House.
She was born on October 6, 1965 to Donald and Karen (Friemuth) Kosmicki at St Joseph, MO.
Kate was an artist. She completed a degree in art at Catholic University and worked as graphic designer for USDA Graduate School in Washington DC. Kate eventualy worked as a Graphic Artist for the Nelson-Atkins Museum, as well as Graphic Designer later in life. She loved photography. She used her garden as a medium of art and expressed her love for nature and Mother Earth.
On August 27, 1991, she married Chito Arcos Belchez in Rockville, Maryland., and they made their home in Overland Park, Kansas.
She enjoyed gardening and travelling, and above all, caring for her family.
Kate is survived by her husband, Chito, daughter, Ava, parents Don and Karen Kosmicki, and sisters and brothers, Bridget and her husband, Srikant, with their children Sanoja and Kelash, Sara, Alex and his wife, Roxann and children, Josie and Edison, Thad and children, Zoie and Max, and younger sister Clara.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Carl and Catherine Friemuth, Frank and Cashmira Kosmicki.
