Karen Miller

Karen E Miller 52, of Olathe, KS passed away Friday, December 4, 2009 at the University of Kansas Medical Center with her husband, Michael by her side. Karen was born March 22, 1957 to Dr. Malcolm Ing and Audrey Ing. She graduated from Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1975 and attended University of Redlands in California.

Karen was an accomplished harpist with a special interest in gourmet cooking. She was a devoted wife, mother, and daughter. During her lifetime she enjoyed the companionship of her dogs and family.

Karen is survived by her Daughter, Courtney DesJardins and Son, Parker DesJardins, Sisters, Debi and Sandra Ing, Parents, Dr. Malcolm Ing and Audrey Ing, Niece, Paige LeMaster, Uncle, Robert Regut and her loving husband, Michael Miller.

A memorial service for Karen will be held on Sunday December 27th, 2009 at 3:00 pm at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 Blackbob, Olathe, Kansas. The family will receive friends and guests at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to, American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, 1120 Pennsylvania, Kansas City, MO 64105. Services will be held in Honolulu, Hawaii at a later date.
