June Marie (Falconer) Cayot was born in London, England and evacuated to the countryside as a small child during WWII.
After the war she was reunited with her family and eventually began her professional journey at Cable and Wireless in London, a career she continued after immigrating to America. Settling in Kansas City, she became an active member of Kansas CIty Society and formed lasting friendships through the Daughters of the British Empire (DBE).
With a sharp intellect and love of learning, June was a gourmet cook, frequently hosting friends at their rural Olathe home. She also enjoyed traveling the world and gardening. After dedicating years to raising her children, she concluded her career at Capitol Federal in Olathe.
June leaves behind two sons in Kansas: John, who lives in Gardner with his wife Kristy and their daughter Heather, along with three grandchildren—Kensington, Porter, and Kai Spears. Their daughter Jo resides in Portland, Oregon. Her other son, George, and his wife Jenean live in Olathe with their children, daughter Reese and son Ty. June is also survived by extended family in London, including her nieces and nephew.
