Judy Wiggins

JUDY (HAZELWOOD) WIGGINS, age 72, went home to dance with her Heavenly Father on August 10, 2013. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, or Vista Baptist Church.

Judy was born on August 28, 1941 in Paducah, KY, to James and Martha Hazelwood. When she was 13 years old, she received a scholarship to a summer camp with Julliard, and due to health complications was unable to attend. She continued to dance and pursued her love of the arts throughout her entire life. In her later years, Judy enjoyed traveling, game night and dinners with friends, her friendships within her Vista Baptist Church family and Celebrate Recovery, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was employed with Mid-Central Sysco as executive secretary to the vice-president, retiring in 2006.

Surviving are her daughter, Dana Wiggins and partner J.R. Robertson, son James Wiggins, granddaughters Miranda Lowe and Taylor Edwards, grandsons Ryan Wiggins and Evan Edwards, great-granddaughter Hailie Lowe, and many dear friends and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her beloved cat, MAX.
