Judy Jansen

JUDY LYNN JANSEN, age 55, passed away July 23, 2011 at her home in Olathe, KS. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, 2011 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S Blackbob Rd, Olathe, followed by a Celebration Service on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 3:00 pm at Indian Creek Community Church, Olathe. Judy was born on June 7, 1956 in the St. Louis, MO area to Robert A. and Margaret M. Hoeltge. On August 12, 1978, she married Larry A. Jansen in St. Louis, MO. Together they made their home in Springfield, MO while they were finishing their education, eventually moving to Olathe in 1981.
Their first child, Timothy M. Jansen, was born in 1990 and their second child, Tessa M. Jansen, was born in 1996. Judy was a full-time homemaker, and truly enjoyed hosting their many friends and family in their home.
Surviving are her husband, Larry A. Jansen, her children Timothy and Tessa, her father Robert Hoeltge, her sisters Janet Preuss and Mary Ann Hoeltge Page, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret, and three aunts and two uncles.
