Judith Ann Vincent

December 9, 1939 — March 11, 2019

Judith (Judy) Ann Vincent, 79, of Olathe, passed away on March 11, 2019 at Olathe Medical Center.

She was born on December 9, 1939 to Eugene and Virginia (Spangler) Hallier in Kansas City, MO.

On August 31, 1973, she married William Charles Vincent.

She dedicated her life to working with children in child care and as a tutor and touched the hearts of many. She was a patient, kind and gentle woman who had a tremendous capacity for love and compassion for others, especially those suffering or in need. She was fond of sending letters and cards to friends and family, and never missed an opportunity to send a thank you to note to those who showed her kindness.

She loved her children, grandchildren, friends, extended family and numerous pets over the years. She enjoyed books, movies, music, HGTV, and keeping up with the latest pop culture. She collected angels which she proudly displayed in her home. She was sentimental and created many photo albums which instilled the importance of memories. She was a fan of people and went out of her way to make sure they knew how important they were to her. She was a fighter, and repeatedly defied the odds despite the challenges and obstacles life threw at her.

Above all, she was a woman of unwavering faith in God and inspirational pride in her Catholic faith.

She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.

Judy is survived by her loving children, Tina Amaro (Brad), Charlie Vincent (Kara), and Kathy Vincent, grandchildren, Jonah Vincent and Lucas Vincent, and brother Denny Hallier (Sharon).

She was preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Virginia.
