Judith Ann Locke

Judith (Judy) A. Locke, 72, passed peacefully into her heavenly home on January 18, 2021. She died from COVID-19 complications. She was born February 4, 1948 in Gardner, KS and lived most of her life in the Olathe area. She was an active member at Living Proof Church in Paola where she loved God and her extensive church family.

Judy was one of thirteen children born to Nathan and Jean Locke. She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers. She is survived by her mother, three brothers, two brothers-in-law, seven sisters, two sisters-in-law, two children, eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Private graveside services will be held January 22, 2021. A celebration of her life will take place after the pandemic ends. Below is a poem that Judy wrote. May it bring peace and comfort to all who loved her.

When Life is Through

When my life is over
and my soul will leave
my body. I pray that all
will rejoice my
life anew for I will
be in Heaven where there
I'll wait for you. I'll be
at ever lasting peacce in
this promised land.
Where angels will give me
Such calm and beauty so grand
The day I have lived my
life for. To be in my Father's
hands.
