Surrounded by family and friends, Judith (Judy) R. Logan, 71, of Olathe, Kan., died at home on Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, after a brave years-long struggle with COPD. Born on March 28, 1940, in Melvern, Kansas, Judy was the second of three daughters of late Edgar and Verna Tilton.
Judy (nicknamed Junkin' Judy) spent most of her life in Olathe, enjoying bargain antique shopping and gardening. Predeceased by William (Bill) Logan, her husband since 1959, Judy spent a rich life devoted to her loving family and home. She adored animals, never turning away a stray dog.
She is survived by daughter Stephanie and husband Steve Greene of Olathe; son Wade and wife Debi of Olathe; son Mark of Olathe; and son Duke and wife Sylvia of Los Angeles. Judy also is survived by four grandchildren: Brandon Brewer, Tori and husband Andrew Leland, Lyle Logan and Tara Logan; sisters Karen Peck and Bernice Harbaugh, both of Cascade Locks, Ore.; and her dog, Spike.
