Joyce Tetzlaff

Joyce L. Tetzlaff, 74, of Olathe, KS passed away Saturday March 10, 2012 at home with her family by her side. She was born September 22, 1937 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Charles and Ruth Hess. She married her high school sweetheart, Donald Tetzlaff on May 1, 1954 in Milwaukee where they made their home until relocating several times before moving to Olathe in 1974.
Joyce enjoyed working in her garden with Don, sewing for her children and grandchildren and spending time with her family. Joyce was a girl scout leader when her daughters were young and always put everyone first before herself. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Don of 57 years, three daughters, Jeannine Haynes (Eric), Kari Price, Dana Hoehn (Tom), eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
An intimate family service will be held on Thursday, March 15 at Penwell Gabel in Olathe. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
