Joyce Scholzen

Joyce E. (Goltz) Scholzen, 82, Olathe, KS passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday, March 29, 2006. A final memorial service to be held at a later date in her home town of Oshkosh, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers contribution are welcome to the American Cancer Society.

Joyce was born July 20, 1923 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin to Victor and Ruth Goltz. She worked 42 years at the Harmon Insurance Agency in Oshkosh before retiring in 1998. She was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Oshkosh for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Donald V. Goltz and Richard F. Goltz.

She is survived by her son; Steven K. & wife Jeanne Scholzen, two grandchildren; Brian & wife Vonna Scholzen, Jill & husband Mario Martinez, 5 great grandchildren; Logan, Dylan, and Kayla Martinez, Ashlyn and Gavin Scholzen, sister-in-laws; Laberta Goltz and Margaret Goltz and several nieces and nephews.

Her hobbies included; Reading, dancing, traveling, watching classic movies, and spending time with her son, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She wants to be remembered best by being a loving devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, and aunt.
