My little bride fell into the arms of Christ Jesus on Sunday Oct 16, 2016.
Joyce M. Godfrey, of Olathe, KS was 56 years old. A visitation will be 6-8PM Thurs. Oct. 20th at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Olathe Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 10AM Fri. at Olathe Bible Church.
Joyce was born April 13, 1960 in Boonville, MO to Ewing and Helen Friedrich. Joyce enjoyed gardening and landscaping and especially cooking. Her biggest passion was caring for people. Joyce loved and is loved by multitudes of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Margaret Hutchinson and Ella Duncan. As well as her brother Richard Friedrich and sister in law Artis Friedrich.
She is survived by her husband Don Godfrey, daughters Melissa Myers, Amanda Myers, Jennifer Godfrey, and Lindy Godfrey- Cox (Adam), grandchildren; Alan Swires, Isiah and Dylan Quick, Adalyn and Ellie Cox. Sisters; Maryann Enyart (Carl), and Linda Bradley (Slim) and brothers Larry Friedrich, Mike Friedrich (Debbie), and Dwight Friedrich (Amanda) and her mother in law Shirley Duncan (Bill) of Olathe, father in law Don Godfrey (Eldean) of Louisiana, sister in law Connie Saulsbury (Willard), as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
