Joyce Ditto

Joyce Ditto, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at Olathe Medical Center in the presence of her loving husband. Services will be held on Saturday, December 8 at 1:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S. Blackbob Rd., Olathe, KS where the family will receive friends an hour prior to service time. In honoring Joyce's wishes, the family requests casual dress for her services. Memorials are suggested to the Olathe Medical Center.

Joyce was born on August 10, 1948 in Pittsburg, KS. She was employed with System Materiel Handling for 15 years, and enjoyed bowling, and spending time at the lake with her familiy.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 31 years, Harold Ditto, children Debbie (Donald) Stidham, Randy (Laura) Swenson, her father Joe Hurlburt, step-children Lori Neill and Dustin Ditto, grandchildren Justin Swenson, Randi Stidham, Katie Stidham, Brittany Cole, Andrew Neill, her brothers Brad ( Debbie) Hurlburt and Ron Karnes. She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Doris Hurlburt. One of Joyce's final requests was to thank all the doctors and nurses at Olathe Medical Center for their loving care over the last two years, and particularly the nurses on 3 North. She loved you all, Thank You!
