Joshua Carl Mansheim

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joshua Carl Mansheim (Josh) on February 1, 2015. Josh was born on July 8, 1992 in Berwyn Illinois at McNeal memorial hospital. At the age of seven, Josh was diagnosed with Duchenne's muscular dystrophy. Josh graduated from Olathe East high school in 2011 where he had many mentors.


With all of the challenges Josh had in his life he was the most positive, upbeat and happy person that anyone could ever know. He enjoyed sports, video games and going to see movies but most of all he loved life and his family. Josh is survived by his father (Mark Mansheim), mother (Katherine Mansheim), step mother (Cheryl Mansheim ) sister (Olivia Mansheim) grand parents (Dale and Barb Mansheim) and (Matthew and Josephine Kowalski).
