Joseph "Jay" Thomas Muller, Jr., 62, of Olathe, passed away on August 6, 2019 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.
He was born on July 3, 1957 to Joseph Thomas Muller, Sr., and Patricia Ellen (Pollard) at Topeka, KS.
On April 21, 1993, he married Penny Lynn Muller (Carter), and they made their home in Olathe.
Jay was employed as Plant Manager for Suhor Industries/Wilbert Company in Grandview, MO, for many years prior to his retirement.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Mary's, KS, and he enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with his family.
Surviving family include his loving wife, Penny, his children Amber Washington (Charles), Drew Muller, Amanda Davis (Marcus), and Adam Davis, his mother, Patricia Muller, and grandchildren Mikayla, Clover, Coraline, Madilynn, and Jack.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Muller, Sr.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 8, 2019, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Penwell-Gabel Olathe Chapel, followed by funeral services on Friday, August 9 at 10:00am, also in the chapel of the funeral home .
Memorials are suggested to the American Kidney Fund (transplant donation) or the American Diabetes Association.
