Joseph was born on September 16, 1982 in Rochester, MN to Chhath P. Chhuong and Sophy Som- Chhuong. He grew up in Lynn, Massachusetts and attended Lynn Vocational High School. He has three loving children that he leaves behind Nasir Chhuong (10), Amina Chhuong (6) and Eon Chhuong (3).
Our Joseph was an entrepreneur, he loved being his own boss. His first job at 16 years old was at Subway, he worked as a banker, taxi driver and also owned his own window-cleaning business. His latest job was with Boucher Brothers Management Inc, in Miami Florida, in the Events Department.
Our Joseph was the youngest of five siblings, and everything he accomplished would put a smile on everyone's face. We always saw him as the silly one, always carefree and loving. He loved being in a family setting, surrounded by the people he loved the most. It gave him reassurance that no matter what, we will always have one another's back.
Our Joseph's primary passion was to travel and see the world. When he was a teenager, he took a trip to Cambodia with our parents. It was an amazing trip! He was able to connect with relatives from overseas, and made it a missionary trip to help out those in need. He canvass the West Coast, East coast, the North and South. He latest destination was to South America. He really enjoyed being outdoors and seeing the stars at night. It was his safe haven and wanting to be closer to nature. He was often searching for answers and meeting people from all walks of life. By immersing himself in different culture he gained perspective. He never judged anyone for their gains or lost. He was a very humbled person, and when others would describe Joseph, they would often speak loving words of his character of how sweet, caring, and selfless he was. He has touched many people's lives here on Earth.
Our Joseph was a loving father. He has wonderful memories with his children. He would brag about each one of his children and showed off their unique talents. He was very proud of his children. When he was away from them, he would often speak about them, and expressed how much he loved and missed them.
Joseph is survived by his parents Chhath P. Chhuong and Sophy Chhuong. His siblings Outarow Chhuong, Rithy Chhuong, Kunthea Chhuong-Lugo, and Sophea Chhuong-Rodriguez.
