JOHN MICHAEL PITTMAN, SR.

Age 46, passed away May 30, 2009 in Olathe, KS. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 2 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S. Blackbob Rd., Olathe, KS, 66062, with Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2009. Memorials are suggested in care of the family.
John was born July 16, 1962 Lincoln, NE to John R. Pittman and Jeralyn K Pittman (Haffer). He married Beth Ann Berding on June 30, 1984. With a degree in Electronics, he established ACC Technologies in 1992. John was a member of the Olathe Chamber of Commerce and Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
He was active in his children's lives, including family vacations, rock-concerts, sports, and being the family mechanic. John's passions included Father-Daughter dances, gadgets, gizmos and four-wheeled thrills.
He is survived by his wife, Beth, his children John Michael, Jr., and Shelby Renee, his parents John R. Pittman (Pat) and Jeralyn Haffer (Keith), his brothers Russell Pittman and Kenneth (Kathy) Pittman and his sister Renee (Brad) Jacobsen. He is also survived by his grandmother Lillian Pittman, aunts Barb (Joe) Moody and Linda (Fred) Roberts and a large, loving extended family.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Jessica Haffer, his aunt and uncle Rick (Maria) Braasch and his grandparents, William and Geralyn Braasch.
