John Fredrick Gordon, 77, formerly of Denver and Lakewood, Colorado, passed away on September 28, 2018, in Olathe, Kansas. He was born on November 19, 1940 to John and Mabel Gordon in Cedar Rapids, IA.
John was as an Architect and worked as a Project Executive for a large developer that developed many of Denver's iconic high-rise projects that changed the landscape of downtown Denver in the Late 1970's and early 1980's. He also worked at Denver's Children's Hospital.
He was a good man, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Ramona Sell (sister), his sons (Jeffery and Bradley), and granddaughter (Taylor).
John is survived by his son, Brett Gordon (wife Becky), and daughter Tane Peterson; grandchildren (Joshua Gordon, Tyler Peterson, Brian Gordon, Bryce Peterson (wife Cristal), Valerie Horsfall (Husband Garrett), Nick Gordon (wife Annabelle), Matt Gordon and Shane Gordon; his great-grandchildren Serenity Horsfall, Tenley Horsfall, Torren Peterson, Ariya Peterson, Jaxson Horsfall, Genevieve Gordon and Waylon Gordon.
Services will be held at a later date.
