John E. Rynard, 82, of Olathe, Kansas passed away on May 6, 2014.
He was born in Kansas City, Kansas on July 16, 1931 to Daniel and Catherine Rynard.
He graduated from Ward High School and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving for five years, including a tour in Korea during that war.
He then attended the University of Missouri - Kansas City and graduated in 1958. He became a Certified Public Accountant and then served 26 years as the Chief Financial Officer at Bethany Medical Center, retiring in 1993.
He leaves his wife, Sally, children Marjorie (Tennis) Witsken and her husband, Bill, and Scott Tennis, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and his brother, Dan Rynard and his wife, Cheris.
He was preceded in death by his two sons, Bill Rynard in 1968, and Ed Rynard in 2009, his brother, Jim Rynard, and his parents.
In lieu of flowers, consider donations to Right-to-Life, as John believed all life to be precious.
