John F. Bollig, 89, of Olathe, KS passed Sun. July 19, 2015 at home. A private burial service was held at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Lenexa, KS.
John was born Feb. 7, 1926 in Ellis, KS to John, Sr. and Catherine Bollig. John attended the Kansas School for the Deaf. He married Margaret Zinn September of 1958. John was a cabinet maker for 47 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret and his parents John Sr. and Catherine Bollig parents and 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
He is survived by his daughters Catherine Bollig of Olathe, KS and Deanna Mumma (Kenneth) of Emporia, KS. Grandchildren; fawn (Rick) Klock, Travis (Tracy) Mumma of Meriden, KS and Kayla Mumma of Pittsburg, KS. Great Grandchildren; Anecia, Kane, Kai and Addison Klock of Topeka, KS. Merritt Williams of Emporia, KS. and 1 brother Bernie Bollig of Lebanon, MO.
