John Anderson

John J. Anderson, age 82, passed away February 26, 2008, in Warrensburg, MO. A second service will be held on Friday, February 29 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Mt. Hope Cemetery, 4700 SW 17th Street, Topeka, where the family will receive friends an hour prior to service time. Memorials are suggested to College Church of the Nazarene, 2020 E. Sheridan, Olathe, KS 66062.

John was born November 9, 1925, in Silverlake, KS, to Axtell and Minnie Anderson. He served our country in the U.S. Navy, and was employed as a Technician for Western Union for over 20 years. He was a member of the College Church of the Nazarene.

He was a man of strong faith, and spent much time studying God's word.

He is survived by his daughter, Mary (Gary) Gibson, two grand-daughters, Anna and Ashley Gibson, his brother, Jo Anderson, and his sister Dorothy Frickey. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nevada, in 1992, his brothers, Ernest and Bill Anderson, and his parents.
