Jesse Burkeen
Jesse D. Burkeen, 75, of Olathe, KS passed away Friday Nov. 20, 2009 at Olathe Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday November 27 at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Olathe, KS. Friends may call from 12-1 pm at the funeral home.
Jesse served in the Air Force where he was stationed in Germany before retiring from the postal service in 1989. He was an avid reader and always enjoyed his crossword puzzles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
He is survived by 2 sons Dan, and John Burkeen, 3 daughters Theresa Fleming, Patricia and Sherry Burkeen. Grandchildren Luke, Bobby, Britany, Brianna, and Brandy Burkeen. As well as his loving companion and girlfriend Joy Reeves.
