Age 52, passed away December 13, 2006, surrounded by her family at her home in Overland Park, KS. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 16 at the Church of the Ascension, 9510 W. 127th Street, Overland Park, KS. Praying of the Rosary will be held at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests remembrances to Cancer Action, 1831 Minnesota Avenue, Kansas City, KS 66102, or to St. Luke's Hospice, 3100 Broadway, Suite 1000, 10th Floor , Attention Hospice Dept. (Charity Care), Kansas City, MO 64111.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley Hilger, her son Matthew Hilger, her mother Peggy Artos, her brother Jim Artos, her sisters Judy Sirek and Peggy Auriene, and numerous nieces and nephews.
