Jennifer Lynn Johnson

Jennifer Lynn Johnson, 41, of Olathe, passed away on February 4, 2024 at home.

She was born on May 10, 1982 to Douglas and Deborah (Helleson) Prochnow at Kansas City, MO.

She loved to dance and was part of Leigh's School of Dance. While performing at Abilene Christian University she met her husband, Casey Johnson.

They were married three years later on March 15th, 2003, and shared 20 years together.

Jennifer was a dedicated mother to three beautiful daughters. She spent hours listening to their heartbeats before they were even born and spent hours everyday with them in her arms.


Jennifer was a registered nurse, and was employed in many areas within the nursing field, most recently as a hospice nurse. She was both compassionate and fearless.


Jennifer is survived by her loving husband, Casey, her daughters Kaitlyn Nicole, Avery Noel, and Kylie Jo Etta, her parents, Doug and Deb Prochnow, her sister, Jessica McCune and her husband, Mike, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Robert and Darlene Prochnow and John and Edie Helleson.
