Jeffry O'Brien

Jeffry Scott O'Brien, 48, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013. Jeff was born in Vincennes, Indiana to David O'Brien and Barbara Adams on November 24, 1964. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 29th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home in Olathe, Kansas. A Celebration of his life will be held Tuesday, April 30th at 1:00 p.m. at Church of the Resurrection in the Wesley Chapel, 13729 Roe Ave. Leawood, KS 66224.

Jeff was a caring and loving man. He was raised in Olathe, Kansas. Jeff was a very talented carpenter in the construction industry for many years. He enjoyed the outdoors, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Our love for him will always run deep within our hearts. We ask you to join in our celebration of his life on this earth and his eternal home in heaven.

Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents Bob and Maejeanne Rose and Ronald O'Brien. He is survived by his father David O'Brien, mother Barbara Adams, step-father Randy Adams, brother Patrick O'Brien (Julie), step-brother Brian Adams (Cate), step-sister Kaci Adams, daughters Jori and Joslyn O'Brien, grandchildren Bryleigh O'Brien, and Corbin Brooks, his grandmother, Dorothy O'Brien and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family, for the benefit of AA.
