Jeffrey Michael Warren, 44, entered into the gates of heaven while surrounded by family on May 8, 2015 at Hospice House in Olathe, Kansas. He was known by many as a devoted husband, father and friend.
Jeff was born in Coldwater, Michigan on Dec. 13, 1970 to Michael and Donna (Foust) Warren of Litchfield, Michigan. On Mar. 31, 2001, he married Susan C. Hatz of St. Louis, Missouri while residing in Columbia, Missouri.
Jeff graduated in 1989 from Litchfield High School and went on to receive a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Missouri. He played basketball there from 1989 to 1993 and later professionally
for the Townsville Suns in Townsville, Australia.
Jeff began his business career with Commerce Bank and later found his calling in sales with DePuy/Johnson & Johnson Orthopaedics, Inc., where he worked as
the Sales Manager for KS/MO until the time of his death.
Outside of work, Jeff enjoyed time spent golfing and teaching his sons the importance of hard work, humility, kindness and teamwork in both life and athletics. He was a faithful member of Grace United Methodist
Church, Olathe. His passion and love for God, family, friends and strangers was evident in the way he lived his life. Jeff was always concerned about others rather than himself and touched many lives with his quiet, gentle manner.
He is survived by his wife Susan of 14 years, and his two precious sons Mitchell Jeffrey and Bennett Nathaniel; his parents; sister Susan Marie (Fred) Michelin, nieces Samantha and Michelle; maternal grandmother Chloey E. Foust; aunts Vena Wade, Shirley Petroshus and uncle Frank Petroshus; in-laws Richard and Jean Hatz; and brother-in-law Bryan (Julie) Hatz.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Grace United Methodist Church, 11485 S. Ridgeview Rd, Olathe, KS 66061 or to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, PO Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
