Jeanne was born in Kansas City, MO, but lived most of her life in Olathe, KS, and graduated from Olathe High School. She enjoyed life to the fullest and then met the love of her life, Stu Shinkle. They were married 05/25/85. It was a marriage made in heaven for 28 years.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Stu Shinkle, brothers Jay Suddreth and his wife, Ellen of Leawood, KS and Jeffrey Suddreth and his wife, Teresa of Olathe, KS; two sisters-in-law, Gail Suddreth and Ruth Suddreth-Davis; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Jay B. and Juanita Suddreth, and her brother, James Wade Suddreth. She also leaves behind three nieces; Lisa Roos of Parkville, MO, Jessica Hotaling of Chicago, IL, and Jamie Diefendorf of Fairway, KS; two nephews; Andrew Suddreth of Olathe, and Brett Suddreth of Overland Park, and three grandnieces; Kaitlyn Roos, Amelia and Abigail Diefendorf, and two grandnephews; Thomas and Nicholas Roos of Kansas City. The grandnephews and grandnieces were like her own grandchildren as she and Stu had none of their own and they spent a great deal of time with family.
The family would like to thank the staff at K. C. Hospice for their care and attention during Jeanne's last few days.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Downs Syndrome Guild of Kansas City and/or Kansas City Hospice House.
