Jeanne M. Hogan, 72, of Olathe, KS passed Wednesday February 17, 2021 at Anthology of Olathe, after a brave and lengthy battle against Frontotemporal Degeneration. An open house celebration will be held at Jeanne and Kevin's home at 15605 S. Lackman Road, Olathe, from 12-6PM Saturday February 27th. A private service will be held at Church of the Resurrection.
Jeanne was born September 17, 1948 in Maryville, Missouri to Victor and Lois Robinson. She grew up in Bedford, Iowa, graduating high school from Bedford High in 1966. After graduation, she attended Northwest Missouri State, later transferring to Kansas University, where she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a Masters Degree in Educational Administration.
She began her career teaching at Oregon Trail Junior High in Olathe, where she would meet and later marry her husband, Kevin Hogan, on July 31, 1981. She would spend the next 10 years teaching 7th Grade Unified Studies at Oregon Trail, eventually moving to Pioneer Trail in 1987 and Frontier Trail in 1996 before returning full circle as principal to Oregon Trail in 2001.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Victor Robinson, Step Father Thomas Osborn, Step Daughter Candace Hogan Moore, Mother Imogene Osborn, and Brother Clifton Robinson
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Kevin Hogan, her daughter Kristen Schultz (Jeremiah) David Hogan, Heather Townsend (Scott) grandchildren Taylor Farwell (Hayes), Dylan Schultz, Gabrielle Schultz, Jake Hogan, Cameron Hogan, Jessica Keffer, Drew Keffer, and Kaelee Townsend, great grandaughter Myla Farwell, Sister In Law, Dixie Robinson and Nephews Pat (Gloria) Robinson and Scott (Cathy) Robinson along with many great nieces, nephews and countless friends who were just like family.
