Jayme Sue Louque

Jayme Sue Louque, age 14, of Olathe, passed away unexpectedly on November 26, 2021 at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO. She was an eighth grader at Frontier Trail Middle School and attended Havencroft Elementary and Briarwood Elementary (early childhood education program).

She shared a birthday with her mom and was born in Merriam, KS on October 20, 2007 to Bryan and Wendy (Dye) Louque.

Jayme enjoyed her family and friends, and everyone was her "favorite" or her "best friend". She enjoyed all things music, dance and theater. Before she was even a year old, she attended her first musical at Olathe South High School, as her sister was in the ensemble as a sixth grader. She was an honorary Jaguar Jazz and Olathe South Golden Girl member. Jayme never missed a chance to see her sister dance or her brother perform in the band.

She will be especially remembered for her unconditional love for others and her joyful spirit. Her laugh was infectious and her sense of humor was spunky and unique.

Jayme is survived by her loving parents, Bryan and Wendy Louque, her sister Madeleine Baker (Jared), brother Andre Louque (Gwyneth), niece Amelia Mae Louque, great grandfather Prentice Louque Sr., grandparents John & Sue Dye and Paula Louque, aunts Jayme Dye, Jennifer Dye and Shannon Juneau, uncles John Dye, Michael Dye and Kyle Juneau, cousins Jackson, Hannah and Benjamin Juneau; Charley, Riley, Marley and Mikey Dye; Caitlin and Cason Dye and Danielle Reiter.

She was preceded in death in October by her Paw Paw, Prentice Louque Jr. Her last words were "I miss Paw Paw" and "I want Jesus".

Jayme Sue loved Jesus and loved serving at Mission Southside, where her mom serves on the Board of Directors and is a faithful volunteer. In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that memorial donations be made to Mission Southside. Contributions can be mailed to MISSION SOUTHSIDE, 514 S Kansas Ave, Olathe, KS 66061
