Jay Paxton Vinnage of Olathe, Kansas, passed away Saturday December 26, 2015 at the age of 46.
Jay was born to parents Donald and Barbara (Woolworth) Vinnage on October 18, 1969 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He grew up as the youngest of three children and attended Shawnee Mission Northwest High School and Johnson County Community College. He was member of Nall Avenue Baptist Church.
Jay's passion was volley ball and he was successful in competitions locally as well as in other cities. Jay was a movie fan and attended Friday matinees the last six years missing only 3 Fridays. He posted a brief review on Facebook of each movie.
Jay is survived by his brother, Michael Vinnage, father, Donald Vinnage, sister in law, Jodi Miller Vinnage, brother in law, Irwin Brown, nephews, Taylor and Connor Vinnage and Alec and Julian Brown, niece Lauren Vinnage, aunts and uncles William and Lee Vinnage, Robert and Marlene Vinnage, JoAnn Vinnage Montgomery, and seven cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Woolworth Vinnage and his sister Kimberly Vinnage Brown.
Memorial visitation will be held at Penwell Gabel Funeral Home at Blackbob and 143rd Street Olathe from 12 noon until 1:00 PM and a service for Jay at 1:00 PM.
