Jason was born in Topeka, Kansas on January 11th, 1975 the son of Kathleen D. Turner and William T. Turner. Raised primarily by his mother in Topeka, graduated from Topeka West High School, May of 1993. On May 13th, 1995 Jason married Kelly Robinson and lived in Lawrence, Kansas while Jason attended Kansas University. In 1996, their first sweet son, Jacob Andrew Turner, was born. Later, they moved to Manhattan, Kansas to better persue his degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management at Kansas State University. After graduating with honors and Valedictorian in 1998, Jason and his beloved family moved to Bellingham, Washington to begin a life in Restaurant Management. The year 2000 brought another blessing, their second beautiful son, Joshua Alexander Turner. In 2001 their family moved from Bellingham to Topeka Kansas where they lived for many years as the boys grew up.

After Jason and Kelly's divorce in 2006, Jason eventually moved to Kansas City to be close enough to be near his boys but also begin a new chapter in his life. Jason soon made a decision to live in the grassroots, city revitalization project, The Emerald City. It was here, that Jason fulfilled his second dream to use all of his creative talents and try his hand at making something new. Jason worked with a team of creative minds, eventually actualizing his dream: Atmosphere. Jason lived and worked at Artmosphere, a gallery and artistic art colony, where he shared interactive art experiences for several years. Jason orchestrated multi-artist, interactive, music and art concerts. Jason painted on canvas, printed with ink and begun a stockpile of personal works. He also showed his artistry and a plethora of other artist's work in the Artmosphere Gallery in Kansas City.

After this experience, Jason once again moved from Kansas City to be closer to his family and spend more time with his boys as they grew older. Continuing to use his skills and degree in Restaurant Management, while working for Hooters of Topeka, Jason often talked about loving his work. Jason continued to work for Hooters until his death.

Jason had a deep love of music and throughout his life, when he was not working, he appreciated socializing with friends and family while listening to his favorite bands. He had a devotion to the Restaurant Business and often discussed coming to the realization of this interest with some of his first jobs as a teen. Jason loved people, specifically his sons Jacob and Josh, whom he did his very best to remain in contact.

Jason had an insatiable thirst for the very marrow of life. He was witty, and quick humored but could also empathize while being supportive and kind hearted. His magnetic personality and old world charm will be missed by all. He had a love of beauty, science, philosophy, religion and art of all forms. His favorite discussions: that of questioning what is known and unknown on these subjects.

Jason was survived by his mother Kathleen D. Turner of Topeka, Kansas and his father William T. Turner of Denver, Colorado. Jason was survived by brother Gavin Turner and his sister in law Katie Turner and their children Colton, Conner, and Zoe of Topeka Kansas. Also survived by his sister Valerie Mize and his brother in law Michael B. Mize and their children Lucie and Simon. He is survived by his beloved children Jacob A. Turner and Joshua A. Turner of Topeka, Kansas.
