Janine Gillespie-Jarratt-McReynolds, 58, of Olathe, KS passed away December 27, 2014 at her home, surrounded by family. Janine was born May 1, 1956 to Clayton and Jacquelyn Gillespie.
She was preceded in death by her Grandparents.
Survivors include her husband, Mark McReynolds, of Olathe, KS; parents, Clayton and Jacquelyn Gillespie, of Welda, KS; brother, Randy Gillespie, of Tomball, TX; sons, Clay and Chad Jarratt, of Kansas City, KS; son Caleb Jarratt of Olathe, KS; daughter, Kristin Jordan and grandson, Kyler Jordan, of Overland Park, KS; stepchildren Josh, Mistie, and Matthew McReynolds; and five step-grandchildren along with countless other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to canceractionkc.org. Donations will also be accepted at the service for a scholarship fund at Mid-America Nazarene University.
Janine was first and foremost a Mother, not only to her own children, but also to the multitude she touched through youth ministry, volunteering, work in schools, and many other forms of service. She never met a stranger, and her life was a living example of Christ's love and compassion. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, and we will continue to celebrate her life.
