Jana Faith Bickel (Schrecengost) passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024. Jana was born March 24, 1981, in Ottawa, KS to Lisle & Linda Schrecengost.

 She graduated from Rockhurst in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She went on to become a certified Family Nurse Practitioner from University of Texas at Arlington in 2019. 

Jana’s joy was her boys, watching them excel academically & athletically. She enjoyed caring for others, being outdoors, and quality time with family & friends. Jana had a fun-loving zest for life that will be missed.

She is preceded in death by her father Lisle Schrecengost.

Jana is survived by sons Jason Bickel Jr & Jaxon, mother Linda Schrecengost, sister Amber Moreau (Fred), niece Ashley Moreau & nephew Freddy Moreau, several family & friends and former spouse Jason Bickel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jana’s honor to the Life Is Better Rescue or to the Overland Park Arboretum.
