James Schreiber

March 15, 1947 — December 28, 2018

James "Joe" Schreiber, 71, originally of East St. Louis, IL and later of Collinsville, IL and Olathe, KS, passed away peacefully at home on December 28, 2018.

He was born on March 15, 1947 in East St. Louis, IL. On December 3, 1966, he married Bette "Carol" Schreiber, with whom he recently celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary. In addition to Bette/Carol, Joe is survived by his loving sons, Jim and John, his grandchildren, Laura, Sarah and Liam, and his sister Joan Jennings. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Schreiber, his mother, Betty Byington, and his sister Janet Casaletto.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019, 2 pm at Penwell-Gabel Cremations, Funerals & Receptions in Olathe, KS, with funeral services to follow immediately thereafter at 3 pm.
