James Rauch

James Charles "Jim" Rauch, 88, of Lenexa, KS (formerly of Coffeyville, KS) passed Sun. Dec. 20th, 2015. Memorial services will be 3PM Tues. December 29th at Garden Villas of Lenexa and 10:30AM Sat. January 30th at The First United Methodist Church of Coffeyville. Inurnment at Restlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Kansas City Hospice or the Alzheimer's Assoc.
Jim was born May 26, 1927 in Coffeyville, KS to Harold and Fern Rauch. Jim was a graduate of Kansas University and earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked in the gas and oil industry. Jim married Joan Price, April 6th, 1952. Jim loved music and square-dancing and was an avid reader. Over the years, Jim served as a deacon and board member of the Disciples of Christ Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Harold and Eldon Rauch.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Joan Rauch of the home, 2 children; Jim E. Rauch and his wife Andrea, of Overland Park, KS and Gretchen Rauch-Herron, and her husband Christopher of Houston, TX. 4 grandchildren; Sara Brinkley, Joshua Rauch, Zachary Fuentes, and Brody Fuentes. Jim is also survived by his brother Carl Rauch and a large extended loving family.
