JAMES PATRICK "PAT" MORTKO, age 54, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on April 16, 2012 in Lenexa, KS. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 5:00pm at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S Blackbob, Olathe, KS, where the family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Heartland Hospice, 4601 College Blvd, Suite 160, Leawood, KS 66211.
Pat was born January 13, 1958 in Kansas City, KS to Stanley and Nancy Goble Mortko. He graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School, and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Radiology from AVILA University. Pat then received a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from UMKC.
He was employed with Patients First, and most recently by Omnicare as a consulting pharmacist.
Surviving are his mother, Nancy (Bill) Chick, and his brother Rob (Sheri) Mortko. He was preceded in death by his father.
