He is blessed with two children: Bart (Heather), "a fine man, who I am proud to call my son," and Ingrid (Clint) "a kind and serving woman, who I always had fun calling my very own daughter." "Heather and Clint have been very supportive and prayerful. Their love of family is evident, and we look forward to their continued support."
Jim is further blessed with three grandchildren: Marisa, Miles, and Henry. Highlights with them include taking each one to a special Grandparent/Grandchild Camp and introducing them to the West and the Rocky Mountains.
His wife of 50 years, Rollie (Banta) has been a wonderful supporter through my liver cancer, faithful and loving. "I love you very much, my best friend and cheerleader."
"My faith in Jesus Christ and His promise of salvation has sustained me. The Holy Spirit was with me throughout my battle with cancer. God blessed me mightily with a wonderful wife and family. My most memorable trip was to Israel, and I recommend that everyone should go!"
